New Delhi: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi addressed the Association of Indian Universities’ 95th Annual Meet and National Seminar of Vice-Chancellors today through video conferencing. He also launched four books related to Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar, authored by Shri Kishor Makwana. Governor, Chief Minister and education Minister of Gujarat and Union Education Minister were among those present on the occasion. The event was hosted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to Bharat Ratna, Babasaheb Dr Ambedkar on behalf of the grateful nation and said that his Jayanti during the period when the country is celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, gives us new energy.

DUBAI: Dubai-based group Ambedkar Global organised an event on Friday evening to commemorate Babasaheb Ambedkar s 130th birth anniversary. The event was held at Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotels and Towers and was attended by Bihar s minor irrigation and SC/ST welfare minister Santosh Kumar Suman, Congress leader Rajiv Shukla, and JDU general secretary KC Tyagi. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s teachings are still very relevant globally. There is a need for equality for everyone. We are striving to achieve this goal in Bihar, Suman said while addressing the Indian diaspora virtually. The government of the state and people have to work together to realize the dreams of Baba Saheb.

New Delhi, April 14: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Wednesday made out a strong case for matching ability and aptitude while highlighting the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) which seeks to transform India sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high-quality education to all.
He was addressing the Association of Indian Universities 95th Annual Meet and National Seminar of Vice-Chancellors, an event hosted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad.
