Anglers going to school this weekend with Ice Team University
Whether new or experienced, anglers from across the Midwest are getting some valuable fishing time, and gaining some knowledge, this weekend on Clear Lake

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa - The ice is clear and thick, and the sun has been out, making for perfect conditions for anglers taking part in Ice Team University this weekend on Clear Lake.
About 75 new and experienced fishers are trying to reel in a variety of fish, from blue gill to yellow bass, on the Little Lake and at Silver Lake as well. In addition, a dinner is held, as well as seminars and even time to share some fishing stories as well. Ice Team has held such events at other lakes around the Upper Midwest, but this is the first time the University was held on Clear Lake.
click to download audioMeanwhile, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 Snow Fighters have pushed back the snow all week in an effort to keep drivers safe during their commute. Below freezing temperatures, gusting wind, sleeting rain, and falling trees have not kept the crews from suiting up and stepping out.
Thursday’s efforts from the district two Crews and some sunshine have paid off, leaving many routes completely clear with little to no residual precipitation.
In Christian County A and B routes are clear, crews continue to work on C routes. In Caldwell County A, B, and C routes are clear. In Hopkins County A and B routes are clear, crews continue to work on C routes.
