UPDATE 10.30AM: Firefighters have extinguished a fire that inside a three-bay shed at a private property south of Mackay this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene along the Bruce Highway at Clairview about 7.40am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said urban crews from Mackay and Sarina had put out the blaze just before 9am.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police were still at the property to continue investigations into how the fire started.
He said there were reports fuel tanks had “gone off” in the fire.
EARLIER 8.20AM: Firefighting crews are rushing to a large shed on fire at a private property south of Mackay.

Fire crews battled a blaze in a shed Riordanvale on Wednesday night believed to have sparked from a generator.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said three crews were called to the property on Buttermans Rd just after midnight.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by about 12.30am and stayed on scene to ensure surrounding properties were safe.
The spokeswoman said the fire was deemed non-suspicious and was believed to have started from a generator.
Crews left the scene by 2.30am.
Paramedics were also on standby for the duration of the fire but did not treat any patients.
