Photo / Supplied Rotorua Daily Post Swim Rotorua had 11 swimmers representing the club in Hamilton at the Swimming NZ Aqua Knights Junior Festival at the weekend. The festival attracted 340 12-and-under swimmers from Hawke s Bay, Poverty Bay, Taranaki, Waikato and Bay of Plenty. The team provided outstanding results with seven new regional records, 30 medals and an additional 29 top eight finishes. The team also achieved 86 per cent personal best times. School children from Chhattisgarh s Kondagaon trained in Judo win 112 medals in various tournaments ANI | Updated: Feb 07, 2021 15:44 IST Kondagaon (Chattisgarh) [India], February 7 (ANI): The children trained by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) from Chhattisgarh s Kondagaon in Judo have received 112 medals in various national-level tournaments. According to a release by ITBP, it has trained 500 schoolchildren of Naxal-affected Kondagaon district in various sports including Hockey, Judo, and Archery since 2016. Two jawans of the Battalion have been training some 200 local boys and girls in Judo in 4 batches daily for about 5 hours. The groups include the children & youth from 5 years and 21 years of age, it said.

Moriarty accepted the medal in a ceremony in Memorial Park this past Wednesday, which was Moriarty s birthday. Moriarty was killed in action in 2016 in Jordan, while participating in a Special Forces operation.
