Eight Swim Rotorua members went to the 2021 Aon New Zealand Age Group Swimming Championships, returning with one bronze and 15 other top 10 finishes.
The event, held in Wellington from April 19 to 23, attracted more than 450 of the top age group swimmers in New Zealand, aged 13 to 16.
Swim Rotorua head coach Aidan Withington said most of the team were younger and were competing for the first time at a national event. This was a great experience for the team, he said.

Swim Rotorua had 11 swimmers representing the club in Hamilton at the Swimming NZ Aqua Knights Junior Festival at the weekend.
The festival attracted 340 12-and-under swimmers from Hawke s Bay, Poverty Bay, Taranaki, Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
The team provided outstanding results with seven new regional records, 30 medals and an additional 29 top eight finishes.
The team also achieved 86 per cent personal best times.

Swim Rotorua has combined a fun day out with generously collecting donations for the Rotorua Daily Post Christmas Appeal.
Swim Rotorua head coach Aidan Withington says donating a can for the Salvation Army foodbank was part of the entry for Swim Rotorua members to take part in its Christmas Mystery Bus Tour.
