Lt. Col. Lourdes Guevarra, chief of the Office of Army Gender and Development, honored all the women in the Army whom she said “polevaulted the impetus of the multifaceted roles of women in development and nation-building” especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have been pressed with our emotional and mental health during the time of pandemic. But the limitations at hand never made our potentials limited. As a matter of fact, some women led the froontline against the COVId-19 and that brought a new definition of women climbing up the ladder towards a top-level participation in the military management system,” she said.

(Photo by Mark Perandos) February 05, 2021 THE developer of the Safe Davao QR (DQR) code is working on to incorporate in the push notification the date, time, and place where the QR code holder had close contact with a Covid-19 patient, a city official said.
The city government started sending push notifications on January 15, 2021 through a text message to those who are registered with the city s contact tracing QR.
Human Resource Management Office head Lemuel Ortonio said in a radio interview on Wednesday, February 4, that the city is currently working on including the feature in the system after seeing it as a need following the initial rollout of the text notification.
