The attack, plus a host of other charges, made him a high-risk fugitive. Green was clearly dangerous - the Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force (FTF) was sent to find him and during his arrest he shot a deputy marshal. Yet, as a recent article points out, the FTF are painted in the light of rogue cowboys who shoot people with no accountability.

FBI: Military Humvee stolen from California National Guard Armory

Palm Springs Desert Sun The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of a military combat vehicle stolen from the National Guard Armory in Bell on Friday.  The upgraded four-door High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, also known as a Humvee, was stolen from the armory at approximately 8:15 a.m., according to the FBI.  It is worth approximately $120,000. It is green camouflage colored. The bumper number is #40BSBHQ6; the Administrative # is WV57TO-HQ06/M1165A1; and the registration number is NZ311R. The Battalion number, 40TH BSB, can also be seen on the vehicle.   The theft is being investigated by the FBI’s Major Theft Task Force in Los Angeles, which includes FBI Agents and Task Force Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department. A theft from a military facility, the agency said, violates federal law and carries a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
