Most NFL draft picks make sense in one way or another. Some teams target roster needs, while other clubs take the best player available even at stronger positions. Yet a small group of front offices hit on a pick that accomplishes multiple objectives.
In a review of the draft, we can spot a lot of good picks. The best selections not only address a hole in the depth chart but also potentially change a team s future outlook or an entire dynamic on one side of the ball. On Day 2, a few teams found great value in prospects who could ve gone in the first round.

All seven rounds and 259 picks are in the books. Now it’s time to decide who came out on top. Here are the grades for all 32 teams, from the good to the bad to everything in between.

The NFL draft has come and gone, and while we’re likely to remember this class as the first post-COVID group, controversial for the medical issues they faced, their decisions to opt out of playing another college season or their decisions to return to school, there was still plenty of high-end talent available.
Beyond the quarterbacks, this class was deep at some foundational positions like offensive tackle. Beyond Ja’Marr Chase and Kyle Pitts, beyond Trevor Lawrence and Trey Lance, we may lose sight of the fact that this class will contribute some key foundational pieces of playoff rosters for years to come.

With Day 2 of the NFL Draft about to get underway and the Falcons owning the No. 35 pick in the second round and No. 68 pick in the third round, there s plenty of opportunity for Atlanta to continue to add talented players to its roster.
The Falcons selected tight end Kyle Pitts with the No. 4 overall pick on Thursday night. Pitts was the best player available when general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Arthur Smith were on the clock so we should expect the same approach heading into Friday night.
