Police: 17-year-old arrested for Kirk s Jewelry burglary in downtown Chico
A teen was taken to Butte County Juvenile Hall after an arrest for commercial burglary and resisting arrest.

CHICO, Calif. - Early Saturday morning, police responded to a burglar alarm at Kirk s Jewelry in the 200 block of W. 3rd Street in downtown Chico and discovered a suspect inside of the business. The suspect was 17 years old, according to Chico police, and was taken to the Butte County Juvenile Hall after being arrested.
The burglar alarm went off at approximately 1:25 a.m., according to police.
