Indianola bulldozed their way through Eagle Lane, combining for 58 runs in four games at Pella Christian, with the baseball team winning 16-4 and 18-2 and the No. 4 in 5A Indians girls sweeping their series 12-2, 12-0, with game two heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
Home runs were the name of the game for Indianola’s high-octane offense, as it was close in game one through four innings, before a pair of three-run home runs busted that contest open.
The Indians picked up where they left off to start game two, hitting three more home runs in the first two innings, including Macie Mays and a game-changing grand slam in the 2nd inning.
