LAHORE: Punjab University Department of Social Work has organized two blood donation camps in collaboration with Sundus Foundation for the children battling Thalassemia and Hemophilia. PU’s Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar inaugurated a blood donation camp at the department. DSW Chairperson Prof Dr Syed Mehnaz Hassan, Registrar Dr Khalid Khan, faculty members and a large number of students participated in the event.

LAHORE: Punjab University Department of Social Work, in collaboration with Sundas Foundation, will organise an event with children suffering from Thalassaemia on Tuesday (today) at 6pm at PU executive club. LAHORE: The Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) on Saturday extended closure of colleges and universities in 23 districts of the province due to increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
According to a notification of the HED, “Pursuant to the decisions taken in the meeting of National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) held on May 19, all public and private colleges in following districts shall remain closed till further orders. The districts include Attock, Gujranwala, Layyah, Okara, Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Lodhran, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhakkar, Khanewal, Mianwali, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khushab, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Muzaffargarh and Toba Tek Singh.”
