New Delhi: Indian bike manufacturer Bajaj autos have recently launched another variant of their popular bike Platina. The Bajaj Platina is projected towards the commuter segment and offers huge value for money. The Bajaj Platina 110 now gets Anti-lock Braking System(ABS).
Bajaj Platina comes equipped with single-channel ABS, a feature that is first in the entire segment. The Anti-lock Braking System prevents the wheels from skidding in a sudden- braking situation.

Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina 110 with Anti-lock Braking System in India at ₹65,920 (ex-showroom). The addition of ABS to the Bajaj Platina 110 is a segment-first provision, by the way. The two-wheeler manufacturer noted that the addition of the ABS braking technology along with the bike s 240 mm front disc brake provides helps prevent the bike from skidding or losing control in sudden-braking scenarios. It also makes the brand new Bajaj Platina 110 variant the safest bike in the segment. day after launching the Platina 100 ES, Bajaj has brought in a range-topping variant of the popular commuter, the Platina 110 ABS. This makes the new Platina the only bike in the segment to sport ABS as standard and also the most affordable bike in the market with this safety feature. This is a welcome move, especially considering the law requires motorcycles above 125cc to have ABS and sub-125cc two-wheelers to feature CBS as standard.
What s The Price? Who Are Its Rivals?
The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS has been priced at Rs 65,926 (ex-showroom Delhi), just Rs 1,241 over the standard Platina 110 H-Gear. The new Platina goes up against the likes of the TVS Star City Plus and Hero Splendor i-Smart. That said, neither of these bikes offer the features the Bajaj commuter does.

Namely, the digi-analogue cluster from the Platina 110 H-Gear has been replaced with a fully analogue, twin-pod cluster. The rest of the bike remains largely the same.
