Six Green River educators are finalists in the district’s Teacher of the Year award. The award is given annually to teachers who go above and beyond in educating Green River’s youth.
The district received 33 teacher nominations, with the selection committee narrowing the group down to the final six. The Teacher of the Year will be announced at the June 8 Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees meeting.
That teacher will then be in the running for Wyoming’s Teacher of the year award.
The nominees are:

Harder is indeed knowledgeable, inspiring, a leader; but he is also kind, compassionate and understanding.
