In the latest instalment of Money Talk, Matt Coulson from Heron Financial, Kevin Roberts from Legal & General Mortgage Club and Katie Brain from Defaqto were all on hand to offer suggestions on mortgages. 2 nd March 2021 2:21 pm Equity Release Supermarket has announced three new hires have joined the tech firm as it “continues to expand its UK operations”. The specialist lender now says it stands at 60 advisors with the addition of Lauren Weir, Eileen Kendrick and Lokesh Singh, who “bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise from the general financial services sector”. The Cheshire-based firm says Weir began her career in financial services in 2005 and has worked for “various high street banks”, gaining experience in mortgage and insurance-related products. During this time she was an in-house trainer for new advisers. Veteran Kendrick has worked in various roles at Legal & General, Halifax, HSBC, NFU Mutual over the last 30 years. She joins from Mercer Financial Planning, where she managed a team of financial and mortgage advisers.
