The commitment by Niccolo Polli, CEO of HSBC Luxembourg since 2018, to create an inclusive environment for LGBT+ colleagues in the workplace has earned him an award as one of 50 ally executives around the world.
Supported by Yahoo Finance, the Outstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists “showcase LGBT+ business leaders and allies who are breaking down barriers and creating more inclusive workplaces across the world.” They also feature an LGBT+ Executives and an LGBT+ Future Leaders category.
Polli “empowers others to become active allies”, the list says about him. Under Polli, HSBC has organised Pride Week discussions and events. Polli is also member of the CEO Equal Opportunities Network, which aims to drive inclusion across all levels of business.
Aon CEO Greg Case Recognized as Top Ally of LGBTQ+ Employees and Individuals January 20, 2021
Aon CEO Greg Case has been recognized for advancing the equality of LGBTQ+ employees and individuals.
Specifically, Case was named the No. 1 ally on the INvolve OUTstanding LGBT+ Ally Executives list for 2020. INvolve is a global network and consultancy that promotes diversity and inclusion in business by way of events, programs, thought leadership and advisory approaches.

The list on which Case is No. 1 includes executives from a number of other companies including Accenture, AXA’s life insurance arm, Procter & Gamble, EY, British multinational insurer Aviva, Goldman Sachs, Bank of England and more.

Leigh is a pioneer member of the HSBC (HSBA.L) Pride + Ally Network in GSC Philippines. Under Leigh’s leadership a number of significant initiatives and company policy changes were made, including the establishment of both gender neutral and gender preference restrooms, the inclusion of same sex and domestic partners in their insurance coverage and inclusion of treatment of HIV/AIDS in HMO coverage.
Leigh took the lead in the D&I forum held in India in sharing Philippines Pride best practices and initiatives and established an annual PAN GSC SOGIE Awareness session, which she personally facilitates. In addition, she played a critical role in the establishment of Pride ERGs in GSC India and China.
