(Shutterstock) POUGHKEEPSIE, NY A 21-year-old former city of Poughkeepsie resident was shot and killed early Friday morning. The North Carolina resident was with friends on the back porch of a home on Washington Street when someone shot more than 10 times at them from Marshall Street shortly after 1 a.m., the Poughkeepsie Journal reported. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Subscribe This is the second shooting in the city this week.
