The storm that hit northwest California on Dec. 25-26 delivered a healthy wallop of rain to the region with some areas seeing up to 4 inches of precipitation.
While most areas received between half an inch to an inch and a half, Honeydew received almost 4 inches of rain. Eureka (at Woodley Island) saw 0.71 inches, Garberville measured in at 1.43 inches and Orick had 2.06 inches.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The incoming storm on Christmas Day has been upgraded by the National Weather Service (NWS) to a Winter Weathet Advisory. It starts on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Heavy snow is possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches, except 1 foot or more above 7000 feet possible.
Possible flooding on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feels like peak 2020, but unseasonably warm temperatures and heavy rain expected today have the National Weather Service (NWS) calling Flood Warnings
