More winter weather is on the way this week, starting with a potential freezing rain and ice storm on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Connecticut residents received a bit of a Valentine’s Day gift on Sunday when an expected winter storm failed to materialize.
However, the weather is expected to turn on Monday when snow and sleet are expected in northern Connecticut, the NWS said. The precipitation will mostly be rain or freezing rain in the southern half of the state, the NWS said.
