Covid-19 might be a new disease but we know much more about it now than we did just several months ago. But one aspect of it that is now only really coming to light is the debilitating effects of Covid-19 – known as Long Covid – which can linger in the body long after you’ve had initial symptoms. Irish woman Aoife Moore shares her story with Jennifer McShane, and detailed the life-altering effect it has had on her and her family
“It began Friday 13th March (typical). This was the first day of lockdown when the schools were closed. We didn’t really know much about COVID 19. Up to this point, people were living their lives as normal but the situation was changing rapidly,” said Aoife, 38, from East Galway.
