The HCM City-based Military Hospital 175 on March 16 vaccinated 70 staff members of the second-grade Field Hospital No. 3 that is leaving on a peacekeeping mission in late March to South Sudan.
The hospital is the other Covid-19 vaccination site in Ho Chi Minh City, besides the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
The officers will be vaccinated with their second dose in South Sudan.
Major General Nguyen Hong Son, Director of Military Hospital 175, said the vaccinations demonstrate their responsibility to the community and South Sudan.

The song reflects Vietnamese people’s determination to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, and reminds listeners of the 5K message to prevent the disease (in Vietnamese), which urges people to avoid unnecessary gatherings, keep distance, wear masks, regularly sanitize hands, and make medical declaration.
Doctor Vu Thang from the Hospital of Dermatology’s Surgery department said that since the third COVID-19 outbreak in Hai Duong and Quang Ninh provinces, the city’s Health Department has requested to stop gatherings and meetings, and instead focus on fighting the pandemic.
