War Memorial combines COVID-19 and influenza testing Contributed SAULT STE. MARIE As of Monday, War Memorial Hospital will be offering a combined COVID-19 and influenza A/B test at the Self Serve Drive-Thru. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends co-testing for COVID-19 and influenza if you are experiencing symptoms of either condition. One nasal swab sample will be tested for influenza A and B and COVID-19. Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. To get a test, it is located at the Self Serve Bin near War Memorial’s Nolte Street entrance. Once completed, drop it off in the drop off box inside the Nolte Street entrance. People are asked to wait five days after exposure before testing.
