A man in his 20s has admitted to smashing three new plant pots at a gallery and coffee shop two days after reopening.

A group of six were captured on CCTV outside the gallery-cum-coffee shop at 8.45pm on Wednesday, April 13, two of the vandals returned to the courtyard around half an hour later to smash a remaining two planters.
Jane Berry, who lives in Beetley, opened her Dereham shop, Church Street Barbers, for the first time on Christmas Eve but was forced to lock up early as the government announced another national lockdown.
The 52-year-old, who already rents a chair in a Norwich barber s, was left devastated and frustrated when she had to wait for a further three and a half months to open her doors again.
She opened along with other non-essential retail businesses on April 12.

The owner of a gallery and coffee shop has expressed his upset and anger after vandals smashed new plant pots two days after reopening.

Community leaders and business-owners in one Norfolk town were largely reassured by Boris Johnson’s ‘road map’ out of lockdown.
Mayor of Dereham Stuart Green said he was glad to hear that lockdown regulations are being lifted, in a controlled manner , and pleased that children will be able to get back to school where they can learn the best .

He added: “It’s great to finally have some dates that everyone can tentatively work towards. Non-essential retailers and hospitality can start to plan for reopening in April.
