DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - Decatur Morgan Hospital is beginning to limit elective surgeries due to medical staffing issues.
WAFF’s Jenna Rae received confirmation from hospital spokesperson Noel Lovelace.
“Due to staffing shortages and extremely high volumes of Covid-19 patients we are limiting elective surgeries at DMH,” said Noel Lovelace, Spokesperson for Decatur Morgan Hospital. “Our surgery team is assessing the situation multiple times a day to determine what we can safely accommodate while ensuring that all critical hospital services remain staffed and available to the community.”
