India reported over 48,000 new COVID-19 cases and more than 1,100 deaths from it in the past 24 hours. Kerala recorded the highest number of cases on Friday with more than 11,000 new infections in the state in the past 24 hours.
New Delhi [India], June 11 (ANI): Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued a fresh notification on speed limits for vehicles plying on the roads of the national capital territory. The new order is aimed at improving pedestrian safety and reducing vehicular accidents and supersedes all previous orders regarding declarations of speed limits.
The order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi, the notification read.
