Sunday Folayan, former President NiRA As part of efforts to increase the adoption of Nigeria’s domain name, .ng, the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) has disclosed that it will be working with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).   The Vice President, NiRA, Toba Obaniyi, who disclosed this plan, informed that as at last year, usage of Nigeria’s domain name, the .ng grew to 180,000.     A domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority or control within the Internet. The .ng is Nigeria’s identity on the Internet space.
