The
Paramore frontwoman has officially released her cover of “Colour Me In,” originally recorded by the English band
Broadcast. The cover had previously been only been available as part of Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy, a compilation released last fall in support of voter registration efforts.
“I really love Broadcast,” Williams says. “It was hard to choose which song of theirs I wanted to cover, but I feel like this one hits me in a sweet spot that’s strangely comforted by longing and melancholy.”
“I recorded this days before lockdown last year and it’s just been floating around in the ether,” she adds. “So happy it’s got a place to land now. Enjoy.”

Apr 9, 2021 2:30 PM SHAED has shared a new song called Osaka, a track off the band s upcoming debut album, High Dive . The bouncy tune, which is available now for digital download, was inspired by the Trampoline trio s trip to Japan in 2019 to play the Summer Sonic festival. We spent two glorious weeks hopping around the island and playing massive festivals in Tokyo and Osaka, SHAED says. We fell in love with the culture, landscape, food and people, and had the best time of our lives. We left Japan with a confidence we never knew existed within ourselves. Osaka is an expression of that feeling.
