Chris Sununu said Tuesday that New Hampshire will not be issuing new mask guidance in light of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recommending that even fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in areas where COVID-19 transmission is substantial or high.No New Hampshire counties are at that level of COVID-19 transmission, according to the latest figures released by the state Department of Health and Human Services. Four counties and the city of Nashua are experiencing moderate transmission, while the rest are seeing minimal transmission. According to the CDC s data on Wednesday morning, though, Belknap County is the only county in the state that is considered to have substantial transmission levels.In its new guidance, the CDC is recommending indoor masks for all teachers, staff, students and visitors to K-12 schools.
