Sealed bids for the 2021 Brook Crossings Pond Dredging Phase 1 will be accepted at the Naperville Park District Office in Naperville, Illinois, until April 27, 2021.
According to Naperville Park District, the work consists of dewatering operations and mechanical dredging works.

Tree removal, shoreline stabilization, fiber roll, seeding and vegetated geogrid wall on the banks as well as other miscellaneous sitework to complete the project will also be included.
If a bid is accepted, a Labor & Material Payment Bond, payable to the Naperville Park District, for not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount will be required prior to beginning construction.
A $10,000 contribution from the Naperville Park District pushes construction of the Gold Star Families Memorial monument in Naperville’s Veterans Park a little closer to its $77,000 fundraising goal.

To help families plan a fun and memorable summer, the Naperville Park District Summer Camps Guide is now available online at www.napervilleparks.org/programguides, offering a variety of camp experiences for children from preschool through high school. Registration for day camps and summer school camps is in progress, while registration for all other camps begins at 8:30 a.m. on April 6 for Naperville Park District residents and at 8:30 a.m. on April 8 for nonresidents.

• The Flashlight Egg Hunt will be held on Wednesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 1 with a 7:40 or 8:30 p.m. start time available each night. This is a fun, outdoor event for kids ages 9-13 at Knoch Knolls Park, where they will use their flashlights to hunt for prize-filled eggs in the park. One parent must be present with their children, however, the parent may not assist during the hunt. The event fee is $
