Keener launches Alton council bid

ALTON Nate Keener on Thursday officially announced his run for Alderman Ward 7 in Alton.
Keener said he is running for alderman because he believes the people of Ward 7 deserve to have a voice in city government, to be regularly updated on issues impacting them, to be treated with respect and given honest answers, and deserve an alderman who will fight for them.
“The people frequently point out the poor quality of the roads and stormwater infrastructure,” he said. “The roads in Ward 7 are falling apart and every time it rains, they flood.
