Carr named new Tipperary ladies football boss

Declan Carr has been named as the new Tipperary ladies senior football manager.
Tipperary LGFA confirmed the news this evening that the former Tipperary All-Ireland winning hurling captain will replace Shane Ronayne who stepped down last month after four years in charge and has since taken over the Waterford men s football team.
Ex-Carlow senior hurling boss Colm Bonnar will be part of Carr s backroom team as a consultant to his former Tipperary teammate.
Also part of the backroom set-up are Paul Creed (coach), Sarah Jane Darmody and Clare Lambert (selectors) and Paddy Lowry (strength and conditioning).
