IPOH: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad ( pic), who came into close contact with a Covid-19 patient, has been tested for the coronavirus and the results could be known by Friday (April 30). According to a statement issued by his office, the Mentri Besar took the test at about 2.30pm on Thursday (April 29) as a precaution. All his official programmes that have been scheduled until May 3 will be cancelled. He is expected to be back to work on May 4, pending advice from the Health Ministry and National Security Council, the spokesman said. Saarani was reported to be undergoing self-quarantine after coming into contact with the patient on April 23 while attending a programme in Lenggong.
