Health staff and visitors were pleasantly surprised when the superhero swung by – armed with stationery and other goodies. A businessman, who only wants to be known as Lee, said the sight of Spider-Man was a “good lift-me-up” after one of his family members tested positive and was admitted. “I saw Spider-Man walking into the hospital lobby after sending food to a relative admitted two days ago. “No visitors were allowed so I could not see him. “But it felt good seeing the superhero, although they don’t exist in real life. The character reminds us to stay brave and never give up fighting,” he said.

#BeMyHero comes to the aid of people, SMEs

PETALING JAYA: The Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) has launched the GoCare #BeMyHero Community Caring Project which will provide the public and SMEs with various forms of aid including free tuition and soft loans. The project is an initiative of GoCare in collaboration with more than 5,000 community volunteers and 100 businesses across the country. Deputy International and Trade Industry Minister Datuk Lim Ban Hong said the aid will come in various forms depending on the need: dry food packs for needy families, arranging vaccinations for patients with chronic diseases, personal protective equipment for poor families, and online classes for students.
