Monmouth County felon had a machine gun
A Monmouth County man admitted being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawfully possessing a machine gun.
In a December 3, 2020, videoconference before U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan, Davon Harley, 30, of Neptune City, pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of unlawful possession of a machine gun.
According to U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito and documents filed today and statements made in court a Neptune City Police officer confronted Harley, a previously convicted felon, who was arguing with others in the yard of an apartment complex in February 2020.
