CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Candler County Sheriffâs Office responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 46 East Monday night.
The vehicle hit a tree and caught fire and the driver was trapped, according to a Facebook post from the Candler County Sheriffâs Office.
Deputy Miguel Aviles arrived on the scene first and found the driver unconscious. Dep. Aviles said heâs worked plenty of wrecks in his four year career so far, including some with people trapped. But this was the first where he could see flames potentially threatening him and the victim.
