Councillor Mark Casey is urging the local authority to install a floating jetty, angling stands and a picnic area on Inch McDermott. In a motion at this week s meeting of Longford County Council, the Lanesboro-based councillor said that facilities on the island could support the recently launched Lough Ree Angling Access For All boat.
