CAVE CITY, Ark. (KAIT) - Power is back on in Cave City after residents were left in the dark Monday.
A backhoe on a trailer snagged a phone line breaking three poles, according to Matt Faries with Entergy Arkansas.

Over 9,000 Entergy customers are without power across Mississippi.
40,000 are without power across the state, according to Governor Tate Reeves.
Be careful when out and about this morning Mississippi - we are monitoring reports of road closures, downed trees, and significant flooding. 40,000 without power! Our team is out surveying damages statewide.

In Memphis, 97 customers are without power, according to MLGW.
The outages are primarily affecting the Midtown area.

Over 23,000 people and businesses are without power after severe storms and damaging winds blew through the Mid-South Friday night.
Friday’s storm activity did not result in any reported damage, but some area residents remain without power Saturday morning.
As of 6:30 a.m., 17 members of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative are currently under an outage. Fifteen members are served by the Mountain Home office, one is served by Salem, and the other is served by Ash Flat.
A few area customers of Entergy Arkansas are also withouth power. The outages include one in Baxter County, four in Marion, one in Fulton and one in Boone County.

OSCEOLA, Ark. (KAIT) - A 130-acre location in Mississippi County has completed certification for a âSelect Siteâ program as officials there hope the site is selected for future economic growth.
Officials with Entergy Arkansas and Mississippi County Economic Development announced Thursday that the certification has been done for the Osceola Driver 130 industrial site. The site is near I-55, a Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad and the Mississippi River.
Officials said the program helps create sites for high-tech, manufacturing and distribution projects around the state.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A storm brought heavy rains into Region 8 Wednesday evening, with reports of minor damage in Poinsett County.
Power lines were reported down south of Tyronza, with possibly some structure damage to homes just north of town.
