Residents of Sarniaâs Landmark Village retirement home got the chance to eat bridge fries without having to make the trek to Point Edward on May 18. Thanks to the generosity of a pair of local businesses, plenty of fries â made with potatoes donated by Sarnia Produce â were brought to the front door of the LâHeritage Drive Residence courtesy of Big Daddyâs Chip Truck.
Landmark residents lined up to pick up their order of fries and then got the chance to enjoy them either in the great outdoors or in the dining room â which had a miniature model of the Bluewater Bridge set up over a kiddie pool filled with rubber ducks in order to give them the full âfries under the bridgeâ ambience.
