Nafiz Modack and Zane Kilian officially charged with murder of AGUâs Charl Kinnear

Cape Town - Alleged underworld figure Nafiz Modack and former rugby player Zane Kilian have now officially been charged with the murder and conspiracy to commit murder of Anti-Gang Unit Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Charl Kinnear.
Ricardo Morgan was named as the third accused in a Hawks statement. Morgan was granted R50 000 bail while Modack and Killian will remain behind bars.
Modack, Kilian Jacques Cronje, Ricardo Morgan and AGU member Ashley Tabisher made an appearance at the Blue Downs Magistrateâs Court this morning.
Suspect in court for allegedly killing two Kraaifontein police officers

Cape Town - The case against Mxoleleni Sikhala, 32, accused of murdering two Kraaifontein police officers, has been postponed to August 4.
Sikhala, who faces two counts of murder, one of attempted murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances, appeared at the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He accused of killing two police officers, Mnakwazo Mdoko, 46, and Mninawa Breakfast, 28, two months ago.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the case has been postponed for further investigation.
The two officers, Mdoko and Breakfast, were allegedly ambushed by a group of suspects while on patrol duties in Phumla street, Bloekombos, where they came under fire. The officers were declared dead at the scene and their official firearms were stolen.
Duo killed, two wounded in alleged gang-related crossfire in Kuils River

Cape Town – Police are investigating two murders and two attempted murders following a suspected gang-related shooting in Kuils River at the weekend.
Police responded to a shooting in Van Riebeeck Road at around 1.30pm on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut said: “Two men, aged 23 and 41, were shot and killed, while two others, aged 22 and 30, were wounded.
’’It is suspected that one of the fatal victims was the target of a possible gang-related attack and the other three were caught in the crossfire. Two suspects fled the scene and are yet to be arrested.”
