A suspect is at large after allegedly threatening a man with a handgun in Northern Westchester, police said.
The North Castle Police Department received a report at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 from a man who said he had been “menaced” with a dark-colored handgun by a Black man who was a passenger in a vehicle on Reservoir Road in North White Plains.
Police said the vehicle was described as being a white Chrysler 300 with white license plates, possibly from New York, with the letters beginning with “KDP.”
The driver was described as being a heavyset Black woman who continued onto Castle Heights.

The following are excerpts from the Westwood Police logs from April 26-May 3. The logs are public record.
Monday, April 26
2:19 p.m.: A resident of Putting Drive reported fraud. In early March, the resident noticed three transactions from their checking account to a fraudulent Zell account. The transactions totaled $1,993. The resident has frozen their account, and is dealing with the bank.
2:32 p.m.: A resident turned over two very old .22-caliber target pistols to the station for proper disposal.
4:55 p.m.: A resident of Far Reach Road reported that their mailbox, supported on a granite post, had been struck by a vehicle. Damage was estimated at $250. The resident said it may have happened between 1 and 4:45 p.m.; the resident had several deliveries made. Police are seeking video footage of the area from neighbors.

A serial rapist has been convicted of a string of attacks on women in Birmingham.
Esa Juwara, 21, targeted sex workers in the Ladywood area of the city from 2019, West Midlands Police said.
He violently attacked his victims, holding his bike chain around one woman s neck and punching another so hard she lost a tooth.
At Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday he was found guilty of 11 offences including five counts of rape.
He was also found guilty of attempted rape, sexually assaulting a girl aged between 13-16, false imprisonment, kidnap with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and assaulting an emergency worker.

Esa Juwara began his campaign of sexual assaults in March 2019. He approached his first victim on Reservoir Road on his pushbike in the early hours of March 10.
