A Bolton GP has urged all residents to make sure they get the coronavirus vaccine if it is offered to them. Dr Sharif Uddin, from the Halliwell Surgery, has recorded a plea to residents urging people to trust him and other GPs and to get the coronavirus vaccine. He says that as people trust himself and other GPs with treating other health concerns, such as diabetes, that the public should trust their GPs when it comes to taking the coronavirus vaccine. In a video released by Bolton s Clinical Commissioning Group, Dr Uddin says: Many of you contact me with your various health conditions for example diabetes or high blood pressure, and you trust me as your GP to do the best thing for you.
Light at the end of the tunnel Ââ pensioner s happiness at receiving the covid jab
PRAISE: Bob and Christine Atkinson PENSIONER Bob Atkinson has nothing but praise for the way the covid vaccination programme is being run in Bolton. The 81-year-old had his vaccination at Peter House Surgery in Westhoughton on Friday and said he was grateful and happy to have received the jab. He told The Bolton News: I drove to the surgery and there were marshals at the car park telling where you could park, because the surgery car park is quite small and it was busy. They were directing people, and they did not have to do that. It took me three minutes in all from getting into the queue, which was socially distanced, to having the injection.
