Doctors at Lever Chambers health centre were delighted to welcome Whites legend Tommy Banks for his jab.
As reported by the Bolton News, Lever Chambers is being joined by Breightmet Health Centre, Peterhouse Surgery in Westhoughton, Waters Meeting Health Centre, Bolton Community Practice and Avondale Health Centre in delivering the vaccine.
This includes a fresh batch of the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine. More is expected to be delivered over the course of the week.
Farnworth-born left-back Tommy, who turned 90 last year, played alongside Nat Lofthouse and Doug Holden in the 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Wembley.
Tommy, who turned out 233 times for the Whites, also earned six caps for England.
