ROCK SPRINGS Rock Springs High School students brought home 33 blue ribbons, a congressional nomination, and the first lady art award from the Wyoming State Art Symposium. The students received at least one blue ribbon in each category at the symposium.
During the symposium, which took place on April 24-26 in Casper, ribbons were awarded to students by art teachers from around the State of Wyoming.
Rock Springs High School took 100 pieces of art to this year’s show and came back with 33 blue ribbons. Amanda Margrave teaches ceramics, Jasmine Krueger teaches graphic design and drawing, Dave Doporto teaches painting and drawing, and Tania Szewczyk teaches photography and drawing.

The North Country Trail spans more than 4,600 miles, connecting eight states from Vermont to North Dakota. Douglas County is home to roughly 105 miles of the trail. Most people who travel it find a favorite stretch.
Peter Nordgren is one of the founders of the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the trail a section on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota called the MacQuarrie Trailhead. It runs past the man-made Gordon MacQuarrie Wetlands, which are teeming with birds like trumpeter swans, geese, ducks and the occasional loon.

HENRICO Co., Va. (WWBT) - Henrico County Public Schools will hold in-person, traditional graduation ceremonies where seniors will be able to gather as a group and accept their diplomas.
Nine high school and two Advanced Career Education center ceremonies will hold ceremonies at the Richmond Raceway June 14-17. The Academy at Virginia Randolph will hold its graduation ceremony on June 9 at the Virginia Randolph Recreation Area.
