ROCK SPRINGS Rock Springs High School students brought home 33 blue ribbons, a congressional nomination, and the first lady art award from the Wyoming State Art Symposium. The students received at least one blue ribbon in each category at the symposium.
During the symposium, which took place on April 24-26 in Casper, ribbons were awarded to students by art teachers from around the State of Wyoming.
Rock Springs High School took 100 pieces of art to this year’s show and came back with 33 blue ribbons. Amanda Margrave teaches ceramics, Jasmine Krueger teaches graphic design and drawing, Dave Doporto teaches painting and drawing, and Tania Szewczyk teaches photography and drawing.
