More could be done
Re: “Fountain could overwhelm Klyde Warren Park needs a water feature, but one that’s sensible, sustainable,” by Mark Lamster, Sunday Arts & Life column.
Let me first say I think such a gesture is great. I just think there is so much more that could be done. First, move the fountain to the deck park being planned by the zoo in Oak Cliff. Second, build on the opportunity like Kansas City, Mo., has with its City of Fountains Foundation to support the care and maintenance of Dallas’ historic and donated public assets. Raymond Nasher did this with his gift of the sculpture museum. That was a gift with vision. Let’s let th
