हाईकोर्ट ने नगर निगम कर्मचारियों को वेतन एवं पेंशन का भुगतान न करने पर एक बार फिर सरकार और निगम को फटकार लगाई है। अदालत ने कहा कर्मचारियों की व्यथा की ओर से निगम अपनी आंख और कान बंद किए हुए है। अदालत ने दिल्ली सरकार को निर्देश दिया कि वह 10 दिनों के अंदर उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम को 293 करोड़ रुपये दे, जिससे वह बकाया वेतन एवं पेंशन दे सके।
