Attorney Arthur Holder yesterday calculated that based on at least one recent fine imposed by the High Court, one bullet was equivalent to a fine of $769.
However, Justice Christopher Birch made a different calculation as he ordered Holder’s client, Renison Anthony Greaves, to pay $10 000 for three bullets in six months’ time.
Greaves, formerly of Welchman Hall, St Thomas, and now of Charles Rowe Bridge, St George, was in the No. 5A Supreme Court where he pleaded guilty to having the three bullets on August 13, 2009.
“I am sorry for my actions and I am sorry for wasting the court’s time,” Greaves, who has three drug convictions in 2008, said.
