New Delhi [India], February 21 (ANI): Various Urdu publications in their Sunday s editions gave prominent coverage to Prime Minister Narendra Modi s speech at the sixth meeting of Niti Aayog s Governing Council.
The publication also highlighted the Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra s speech in Muzzafarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh in which she termed the Prime Minister as an arrogant king.

NEW DELHI/CHANDIGARH: The Sixth Niti Aayog Governing Council meeting saw PM Narendra Modi make a strong case for the agricultural reforms saying they were necessary for transformation of the sector.
Unlimited opportunities awaited the farmers, the PM stressed, adding that necessary investment in infrastructure and modernisation would be the key to realise the potential.
“We spend about Rs 65,000 crore in the import of edible oils which can easily go to our farmers. In pulses, we used to spend much in import, but the policy steps ensured that the farmers now meet the demand. The result of a number of steps is evident in the rise of export of agricultural produce even during Covid-19 pandemic,” said the Prime Minister.

PM Modi to chair 6th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chaired the sixth meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, via video conferencing. The agenda of the meeting included deliberations on agriculture, infrastructure, manufacturing, human resource development, service delivery at the grassroots level, and health and nutrition, the Prime Minister s Office had said.Â
The Governing Council presents a platform to discuss inter-sectoral, inter-departmental, and federal issues. It comprises PM Modi, Chief Ministers of States and Union Territories (UTs), with Legislators and Lieutenant Governors of other UTs, PMO said.
The sixth meeting also witnessed the entry of Ladakh for the first time, in addition to the participation of Jammu and Kashmir as a UT.
