Vandalising sculpture of Bangabandhu: Two madrasa students confess to their involvement

Two madrasa students, the accused in a case filed for vandalising a sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Kushtia town, have confessed to their involvement in the incident.
They are Abu Bakr alias Mithun, 19, and Sabuj Islam alias Nahid, 20. Both are students of Ibne Masud (R:) Madrasa in the town s Jugia area, our Kushtia correspondent reports, quoting police.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Delwar Hossain recorded their statement under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) this afternoon, said Mostafizur Rahman, additional superintendent of Kushtia Police.
