Date Time Marngrook Oval Pavilion officially opened Nillumbik residents have yet another high-quality sporting facility to enjoy with the official opening of the Marngrook Oval Pavilion in Diamond Creek. Nillumbik Mayor Peter Perkins, Yan Yean MP Danielle Green, Eltham MP Vicki Ward, along with the various user groups today attended an event to mark its official opening. Danielle Green was representing the Minister for Local Government and Suburban Development, Shaun Leane. The new pavilion and lighting upgrade, a project worth almost $1.6 million, was funded through a Victorian Government Growing Suburbs Fund (GSF) allocation and Nillumbik Shire Council. The GSF allocation was over $400,000 with Council contributing more than $1.1 million.

The prestigious annual AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Llist, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by Australia’s leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium. Almost 1000 organisations from Australia and New Zealand were nominated for the awards across 10 categories and we ranked third in the Government, Education and Not-For-Profit industry category. Nillumbik was the only local government organisation across Australia and New Zealand to be recognised.
