TRC to create Service Delivery and Sustainability Branch
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) has begun the process of establishing a Service Delivery and Sustainability Branch within the organisation to focus on continually improving Council’s operations and service delivery.
TRC Deputy Mayor and Finance and Business Strategy Committee Chair Cr Geoff McDonald said Council had taken these steps to further support its long-term sustainability.
“Effectively, what we’re doing is providing resources to assist management consider and implement how we can improve the way we do business,” Cr McDonald said.
“Every day our workforce is very busy delivering a range of services, projects and programs, however, it is crucial that we also invest time and resources into ‘how’ we undertake and deliver these essential services.
